The Old Curiosity Shop is a riveting tale of adventure, devotion and

tries to save her grandfather, a compulsive gambler. They roam
the countryside of 19th century England seeking to evade the
villainous creditor, Mr. Quilp. Their travels bring them into
contact with a host of fascinating characters.
